My love for photography began in childhood, flipping through old family photo albums and watching my grandfather’s holiday slideshows. My mother nurtured that passion through photography classes and competitions, and before long, I was capturing moments for friends and family.

Having only a handful of photos of myself as a child, I’ve grown to deeply appreciate the power of preserving life’s special moments — from my husband’s and my engagement to the birth of our children, and all of the milestones that came after. As a military family, I’ve learned how meaningful it is to freeze time, especially when distance and change make every reunion and laugh that much more precious.

To me, photography is more than posed smiles or picture-perfect settings — it’s about capturing the real and in-between moments that tell your story.
